Polyethylene (PE)
Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) powders are commonly applied to racks,
shelves, and wireworks for corrosion protection and decorative purpose.
The coating offers smooth and glossy finish with variety of colour, and
resistance to abrasion, scratch, impact, UV light, chemicals.
Applications:
|
Air-conditioner fan guards
(compressor units), refrigerator racks, wireworks |
|
Automotive parts - bonnet stays, battery cases, roof racks |
|
Outdoor furniture - benches, handrails, fencing, lamp posts |

Nylon (Polyamide-11)
Nylon is a common name of Polyamide-11 (PA-11) thermoplastic
coating powder. Its characteristics
include good abrasion resistance, low co-efficient of friction,
high impact strength, electrical insulation, self extinguishing,
and high service temperature up to 100°C.
Nylon has good resistance to chemicals such as alkalis, salts, and
most solvents but limited resistance to some acids. Finish
products have glossy surface and self-lubricating property.
Applications:
|
Industrial applications - swash
baskets, housing trays |
|
Automotive parts -
buckles, brackets, handles, nudge bars, spline columns, door rails |
|
Water/fluid handling equipment -
pipes, tanks, water filters, valves, connections, fittings |
|
Furniture & household goods - chairs
and tables, luggage racks, shop fittings, bathroom fittings |
|
Wire goods - dishwasher racks,
shopping carts |

Halar®
E-CTFE
Halar is a thermoplastic fluoropolymer
powder with a unique chemical structure of
Ethylene-Chorotrifluoro ethylene copolymer (E-CTFE) that gives Halar
special properties and superior advantages for corrosion
protection. It offers extremely good chemical and flame
resistance, electrical insulation, as well as ability to retain
its properties over a broad range of temperatures from cryogenic
to 150°C.
Characteristics:
|
Mechanical toughness, excellent impact strength and
abrasion resistance |
|
Good electrical properties |
|
Outstanding chemical resistance suitable for
applications where resistance to chemicals (strong minerals and
oxidising acids, alkalis, most organic solvents) is necessary |
|
Excellent permeability resistance to
gases such as oxygen, carbon dioxide, nitrogen, helium |
|
Excellent radiation resistance and high oxidative stability |
|
High temperature performance up to
150°C |
|
UL94 V-0 flammability rating |
|
Surface smoothness which does not
support bio-film growth |
|
|
|
|
Applications:
|
Chemical storage & fluid handling -
piping systems, containers, vessels, filters, hoods, agitators,
centrifuges, caustic collectors |
|
Semiconductor and electronic process equipment
- semiconductor chemical storage tanks, clean room equipment,
electroplating equipment |
|
Processing equipment - pumps,
valves, fittings, expansion joints, fans, impellers,
propellers |
|
Duct systems - fume and smoke
exhaust ducts |
|
Fire safe components |
|
Oil field applications - shock
tubing, encapsulated injection tubing, coated rod |
|
